SEE What You Are Buying Into is a labelling scheme that empowers people in making better consumption choices. At the same time it is also a practical and powerful business tool. Click here for the 10 page pdf introduction to the scheme.
The evaluation process requires businesses to draft responses to our 35 questions using the online SEE Questionnaire Manager with ongoing and expert support from SEE Ltd. It is an iterative process that can help any organisation to:
- better understand SEE issues and better identify the associated risks and opportunities they present;
- gain fresh perspectives on its values and on the aims and objectives it has set itself;
- build capacity by better equipping its workforce to effectively respond and adapt to new challenges;
- get and stay up to date with legislation and current best practice;
- better communicate policies, practices and ideals within its organisation; and
- better monitor, review and improve business performance.
For those organisations willing and able to complete the evaluation process and become SEE listed, there are the additional benefits of:
- enhancing reputation and building trust;
- demonstrating the ability to publicly justify all policies and practices;
- communicating credibly and effectively engaging with customers and other stakeholders; and
- inclusion in SEE Ltd's active development and roll out of Web 2.0 tools to enhance and improve the SEE scheme.
