In brief, the pre-listing evaluation uses the SEE Questionnaire Manager (SQM), a secure, bespoke, online tool. A company is given a unique username and password and then has 60 days to complete their responses to the SEE Questionnaire. The respondent company is mentored by SEE What You Are Buying Into Ltd as it drafts responses and, in so doing, reviews and assesses its own performance.

A company writes its responses, according to the answering requirements set out in each question, and describes what the company is doing and why it is doing it. There are no perfect answers. SEE issues are difficult and always changing, but policies and actions should nonetheless be sensible, practical and publicly justifiable.

Responses and company information are signed off by a nominated person, such as a senior director, before publication. Each SEE listed company must guarantee that its information is accurate, complete and verifiable and agree to keep it up to date as and when published on this site, according to our terms and conditions.

A fee is required to undertake the evaluation process. An additional annual licence fee is payable for those organisations that are willing and able to list on this website and carry the SEE Logo. Our fee information is set out here.
